Absolutely. Our kits are designed so anyone can grow mushrooms, even if you’ve never tried before. Everything inside the box is fully colonised and “ready to grow” — you just cut the bag and mist it once or twice a day. We handle all the technical stuff (sterilising, inoculating, incubating), so you simply open it and watch the mushrooms appear.

Your kit will stay fresh for 4–6 weeks before you start growing it. Just keep it sealed and stored in the fridge. The mycelium is alive, so over time it may thicken or get slightly denser in colour — that’s totally normal. For best results, aim to start the kit within a month of receiving it.

Most customers see mushrooms within 7–14 days of opening the kit.
