King Oysters (also known as King Trumpet) are the heavyweight of the oyster family — chunky stems, firm texture, and that incredible ability to brown, caramelise and crisp like meat. If you’ve ever ordered King Oysters in a restaurant and wished you could cook them at home… this is the kit.
Our blocks arrive fully colonised and ready to grow, so all the hard work is done for you. With just a slice in the bag and a little misting, you’ll have perfect, thick-stemmed Kings in 10–14 days.
Remove kit from the shipping box as soon as possible. Fruiting blocks should be used within 1 week of receipt. If you don't plan to use immediately, you can refrigerate your block for up to 6 months.
Temperature
Ideal: 16–20°C
Acceptable range: 14–22°C
Humidity
Ideal: 85–95% humidity
Mist 1–2 times per day (light spray, not soaking). Keep the surface moist but never waterlogged
Fresh Air
Needs good airflow to develop properly. Keep in a room with fresh air (not sealed in a cupboard). Avoid direct drafts, but don’t suffocate it
